Can you provide support and companionship to an older lady in these isolating times? This house is situated in the beautiful rural location of Cornworthy, Totnes. It comes as part of a Two Generations Homeshare.
Weekly Support Commitment: Approximately 10 hours per week of help in the home and an overnight presence.
The current homeowner is an incredibly vibrant and sociable lady in her 80s. She used to work as a nurse, has enjoyed travel, loves theatre, swimming, and sailing. Her favourite pastime is word puzzles! She is looking for companionship and the reassurance of an overnight presence in her home. She would like someone who can help with some food shopping, household chores, and most importantly offer some companionship.
We are looking for someone who has a good sense of humour, loves music and the arts, and enjoys chatting. The ideal sharer will be FEMALE and due to location must be a DRIVER. The sharer can be studying, working from home, or working part-time, but should have some time available during their days to offer household support and companionship.
The sharer has a lovely double room with access to a private bathroom. The sharer is welcome to use the rest of the home including the open-planned kitchen and lounge and a huge amount of outdoor space.
